A Visit From Harvey The Elf

This week we were lucky enough to have a visit from all the children in Class 1 from East Ayton Primary School!

We enjoyed Christmas stories and songs including ‘Dear Father Christmas Get Well Soon’ by Alan Durant.

In this special story Harvey the Elf sends letters to Holly and together they help Father Christmas to get well in time for Christmas.

After Class 1’s visit to the library, Harvey the Elf sent a letter to Class 1 and promised to deliver some Christmas stencils to the library for them to use in the holidays.

Well guess what! All the children decided to write back to Harvey and here are all the amazing letters they wrote. What superstars they are!

Today when we opened up the library we found the stencils just in time for the holidays together with a letter to Class 1, which we have just dropped off at the school.

We are looking forward to seeing you all in the holidays!
