Dengineers Week

Here is a little taster of what’s to come next week…..

Dengineers Week at Derwent Valley BRIDGE Library!  From Tuesday 16th – Saturday 20th August it is Dengineers Week at the library!

Can you work together with family and friends to make a den? And once you have made your den, don’t forget to play in it. What type of den will it be? Is it a house, a car, a shop, a cafe? Maybe it is a cosy reading den for sharing a story?

Come along to the library on Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday between 10.30am and 4.30am or Saturday 10.30am – 12.30pm to try out our den making kits.

We’ve got pegs, poles, sheets, blankets and cushions. We just need your engineering skills and amazing imaginations!

If the weather is nice you are welcome to take the den kit outside and make a den in our beautiful enclosed garden. You can even bring along a picnic!

This is a free help-yourself activity with no need to book. We look forward to seeing you next week.
