First Talk of the Winter Talks Programme

Hard on the heels of a sell out and very successful concert on Saturday comes the start of our Winter Talks Programme.

Our first speaker in the series is Tom Powell who will give an illustrated talk about his exciting trip to Antarctica retracing the heroic 1915 journey of Ernest Shackleton. T

he talk takes place in the library at 7pm on Thursday 16th October. Tickets (£5 including refreshments) are on sale in the library now
