On Sunday 3rd June 25 families and 39 children took part in the \u201cWrong Trousers Walk and Treasure Hunt\u201d , organised by volunteers at the Community Library.\u00a0 The residents of West Ayton woke up to find several pairs of \u201cwrong trousers\u201d climbing up telegraph poles, sitting on walls or hiding behind trees, \u00a0Clues and questions were \u00a0attached to the trousers and there were additional visual Aardman characters to name along the route.<\/span><\/p>\n

The weather was kind and everyone said how much they had enjoyed their meander around the village. All the children participants received a medal\u00a0and there were s<\/span>ome cheesy snacks and drinks when families returned to the library.\u00a0\u00a0Even Wensleydale.<\/span><\/p>\n

A big thank you to all the volunteers who worked so hard to make it such a successful event and to all the families who took part and supported the activity.<\/p>\n
