We are the perfect place for a rainy (and sunny) day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some little people from Little Wild Childcare popped into the library for the first time this week and we were very busy on Wednesday when some local children came along to choose some new books, play and colour after school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This week we have also been visited by Class R and Class 3 from East Ayton Primary School who thoroughly enjoyed exploring the library, sharing stories and engaging in book chat!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Did you know this academic year we have delivered a total 18 nursery, preschool and school visits both at the library and at the settings themselves? We have visited 4 different settings and read stories to children from 6 different classes!! That\u2019s approximately 120 children who have experienced the power of stories!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We are looking forward to engaging with even more children this summer and showing them that libraries really are magical places!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
